That we all contain multitudes that our identities are complex and we're more than our physical selves. Lockhart said via video that she didn't want to be defined solely by her handicap. She does not want to become an advocate for disabled people who only talks about disability. There are a variety of aspects to Lockhart. It doesn't impact my daily routine. I carry on doing my job as normal and have developed my own ways to adapt. It's also part of me and I feel it's important to talk about. Lockhart's self-acceptance journey is one that will last an entire lifetime. She can be a role model for this purpose. Even so, Lockhart admits that she has had periods when she felt uncomfortable with her appearance and wearing clothing that showed her arms. Nowadays, she dresses whatever she wants and posts pictures of herself in these outfits on social networks with a sense of pride. For her, self-love is an extended trip.
